Shōhaku – An Introduction to Authentic Tea Ceremony Matcha

An entry-level tea ceremony matcha from Marukyu Koyamaen, favoured by Hōunsai, the 15th-generation Grand Master of the Urasenke tea school.

With a harmonious balance of gentle astringency and natural sweetness, Shōhaku offers a smooth, mellow and approachable flavour.

An excellent choice for those looking to explore authentic Japanese tea ceremony matcha for the first time. Best enjoyed as Usucha (thin tea).
