Founded in 1645, Shohokuen is one of Uji’s long-established tea houses, with centuries of dedication to cultivating and refining exceptional tea. Their tea gardens have been recognized with numerous awards over the years, reflecting the brand’s deep craftsmanship and heritage.

Made from high-quality tea leaves harvested only once a year from naturally grown tea trees in Uji, this matcha is carefully blended for balance and depth,top grade product of the brand.
The leaves are slowly stone-milled into an ultra fine powder, creating a smooth texture ideal for usucha (thin tea).

It offers a refined aroma, gentle sweetness, and a mellow, rounded umami.
